Younique Customer Review!

Customer Review!

Today I wanted to share a review of Younique Cosmetics that I recently received from Kim this is in her own words:

Before

I opted for a more subtle, natural look since I was wearing the makeup during the day.  (I used my own mineral foundation and my own mascara).

I applied the Face Primer first.  Fabulous concealer under the eye and on top of my eye lid.  Curious from lash line to brow, Confident on the lower lid, Glamorous in the crease and used a wet liner brush to apply Corrupted as a liner both upper and lower lash line.  Seductive blusher on the cheeks and a little Curious as a highlight color on the cheeks and again over the eyes & on the brow.

After

What I LOVE about the products:  The pigments are so true and bold, a little really goes a long way!  I love true pigments in makeup.  Younique held up well all day long.  It did not crease or run, even in the Virginia humidity.  I really like that the colors are convertible, in that I can use them in different ways - blusher as eye shadow or on the lips, eye shadow as cheek highlighter, etc.  And that they can be applied wet or dry.  I prefer a powder-to-wet or cream eyeliner because it holds up better than pencil and is easier to blend.  The pigments blended together really well too.  With this mineral makeup you can start with a little and keep layering for a more dramatic look. I have super sensitive skin and have to be cautious what goes on my face and I had no issues with Younique makeup.

A little critique:  I had to be careful when applying the eye colors because they did tend to flake off the brushes a bit and some landed on my cheeks which I had to blend away with a powder brush.  Not a big deal, just have to use a gentle touch with this type of texture mineral makeup. (This can be avoided by tapping the brush on the lid before applying to remove excess shadow from the brush)

I want to thank Kim for allowing me to share her review and her beautiful pictures with my readers. She did a great job! For her time and review Kim has been entered into a drawing for a free Younique mineral pigment of her choice! If you live in the US or Canada and would be interested in writing a review like this please contact me here and I will get in touch with you! This review promotion goes till the end of Sept so don't delay!
