Today's Look- Precocious and Dignified

I have always had very blue eyes, eyes that have gotten noticed and complimented many times, but that does not stop me from wanting to bring them out even more!! Today is one of those days when I need all the help I can get to feel good....my home town has been stuck in an inversion for weeks....If you have never been in an inversion imagine being stuck under clouds that are dull and gloomy...imagine not seeing the sun....for weeks! I am in such a winter blues funk!! So I decided to take the "blues" to my eyes and see if I can go fishing for some compliments at walmart! So now that you have seen the look lets talk about how I made it!

First I used the Deluxe Brush to covered from the crease down to the lash line with this beautiful shimmer green called Dignified! I applied it using Refreshed Rose Water, this makes the color more intense and also makes the pigment have a creamy texture.

Next I used the Crease Brush to apply Precocious, which is a matte pigment, to the outer V of the eye and slightly above the crease on the outer corners of the eye. I also used this color to smudge below my lower lash line.

Next I applied Curious, a shimmer white pigment, dry using the shader brush. First I applied it under the brow then blended it from the inner eye out to soften the lines of the darker colors. I also used it to highlight the inner corner or the eye.

Next I used the liner brush that I had dipped into the Refreshed Rose Water and then the Devious shimmer pigment. I mix this to create a creamy "paste" and then line line my eyes.

I finished the eye by applying our amazing 3D Fiber Lash Mascara, after all no look is complete until you add length and volume to your natural lashes using this magic mascara!!

Now that I am done up for the day I guess it is time to get out of the house with my little man and see if anyone notices! Wish me luck!!

Are you ready for Football Season??

I live in a little town called Boise, ID and around here during football season it is better known as Bronco Nation! We love our BSU Broncos! When you go to the store or drive around town everyone is wearing blue and orange, every car has a BSU flag waving in the wind, it is awesome! My sons make wearing as much blue and orange into a sport in and of itself! Not to be outdone each and every game day I put on my jersey, my BSU earrings, and yes my blue and orange nail polish! Now that I have Younique Products I can now add the Blue and Orange to my eyes and even to my lips! So here it is my BSU Game Day Look!

• apply precocious in the outer V and to line the lower lid.
• brush Awestruck over the top of the Precocious to lighten it up and make it pop! 
• apply Giddy to the inner lid and blend into the blue 
• brush a little provoked over the Giddy to give it a little more of an orange feel. 
• blend Gorgeous over most of the lid and the inner lower lid. 
• I finished it all up with a little Sexy under the brow.

 I loved how this turned out! The best part was being able to apply the new lip gloss, Livid to finish it off.  It is such a beautiful golden orange color it just was the perfect touch! Now I am all ready to go to our football party and cheer on my Broncos!!

Step by Step

1. Apply Heart Broken wet from lash line to just above the crease using the Deluxe Brush on the lid in about 3/4, leaving the inner corner bare.
2. Using the Shader Brush apply Sexy to the inner corner then use it to blend over the heavy crease to soften the Heart Broken.
3. Using the Crease Brush apply Confident in the crease, angling it from outside to create a V shape at the outer corner of the eye.
4. Using the Liner Brush and water create a paste with Devious and apply it as a liner on top and lightly on the bottom lash.
5. Using the Shader Brush apply a touch or Curious under the brow.
6. Clean off the Shader Brush then use it to blend over any harsh lines.
7. Finish using 3D Fiber Lashes!

Great Look for Blue Eyes!

Todays Look

Today I did a new look and I must say that I really like it! I love the soft colors and how it makes my blue eyes POP! What do you think?

To do this look you will need the following products by Younique:

1.  First I took the Deluxe Brush and got it slightly damp and mixed it will a little Confident then applied it to the outer corner of the eye from the lash line up about 3/4 of the lid. I then brushed it lightly over the crease and down below the lower lash.
2. After washing the brush, again slightly damp I applied Sassy  to the middle of lid, from lash up about 3/4, and blended into the Confident and over the crease.
3. Again, wash the Deluxe brush and use the damp brush to apply Playful to the inner corner of the lid then along the lower lash line.
4. Using the Shader brush apply Sexy just below the brow to blend and soften the shadow line.
5. Using the Liner brush add a small amount of water to Devious to make a paste and line your eye along the lash line of the top lid and the water line of the bottom lid.
6. Finish the look using 3D Fiber Lashes.

This is a quick look that I think looks great for day or night. I hope you will try it and let me know what you think!

Golden Gorgeous

1. First take your Deluxe Brush and add water to make a paste with Gorgeous and apply to lower 3/4 of lid and along the bottom lash line.  (you look a little crazy after this step- HELLO GOLDEN EYE!
2. Next I used the Crease Brush slightly damp to apply Confident to the crease and slightly above, blending it in with the Gorgeous above the crease.
3. After cleaning the crease brush I used the damp brush to apply Daring to the out corner of the eye to create my triangle of shading and take it down along the bottom lash as well.
4. Using the dry Shader brush apply Confident below the brow to soften and blend the line of color and highlight the inner corner of the eye. You can also use this any where you want to soften the look.
5. Use the liner brush with some water to make a paste with Devious to line the upper and lower lash line.
6. Finish by applying 3D Fiber Lashes. 

You now have a Gorgeous look to show off your eyes. Enjoy!
