A few things I love about Younique

Last night I had the opportunity to attend a Younique Launch Party where the Co-founder of Younique, Melanie Huscroft spoke. I wanted to share some of the things she shared with us because to me it was just another confirmation that I did the right thing back in October when I first heard about Younique. (You can read about it here) So here are a few of the things that I loved!

• Younique was founded by a brother & sister team, Derek Maxfield and Melanie Huscroft. Melanie talked about how much her brother thinks of women, how capable we are, I LOVE THAT! You can learn more about his awesome duo here. 
• If you notice our beautiful Younique Logo is purple. Purple stands for Royalty because we, as women are ROYALTY!! Love that! I tell my daughter all the time that she is a daughter of God which makes her royalty!
• When they started Younique they took all of Derek's years of experience working with some of the top direct sales companies and took the best of each one and create what they felt would be an amazing Home Party company. But they did not want to limit the presenters to their local circle of influence like the traditional home party plan, they wanted to broaden the reach of the presenters by taking the home party virtual! Just to prove that this concept works our top producing Presenter is from a small town of 1000 in ALASKA!! She uses social media to spread her Younique business across the counrty! Seeing how I am a SAHM that lives in Boise, Idaho I love that!

What an amazing company! I am so grateful that I went to that meeting on October. So glad that I took the leap of faith and signed up as the 27th presenter in this new company! Glorious really is Glorious!

Glorious Face & Eye Primer

Last night at a corporate Younique Launch Party in Boise I was given a sample of the new Younique face and eye primer called Glorious. It was just in a small container and you had to look closely to see it because it is a clear gel. This morning before applying my Younique makeup I applied a small amount of Glorious to my face and as I spread it I was amazed at how easily it glided on my skin, it was like applying liquid silk to my face! My first thought was, "Wow they did a good job naming this, it feels glorious on my face!"

Once I had it applied to my entire face I continued with my normal routine of my drug store mineral foundation, because I have not yet received my Younique Concealers. I immediately noticed my skin looked smoother and the foundation applied easier. When I got to applying my eye makeup I was amazed at how just using the Glorious Primer made the mineral pigments easier to apply and the color was so vibrant! 

I am so in love with the new Glorious Primer, it is unlike any other primer that I have used!

Great Look for Blue Eyes!

Todays Look

Today I did a new look and I must say that I really like it! I love the soft colors and how it makes my blue eyes POP! What do you think?

To do this look you will need the following products by Younique:

Younique 3D Fiber Lashes

1.  First I took the Deluxe Brush and got it slightly damp and mixed it will a little Confident then applied it to the outer corner of the eye from the lash line up about 3/4 of the lid. I then brushed it lightly over the crease and down below the lower lash.
2. After washing the brush, again slightly damp I applied Sassy  to the middle of lid, from lash up about 3/4, and blended into the Confident and over the crease.
3. Again, wash the Deluxe brush and use the damp brush to apply Playful to the inner corner of the lid then along the lower lash line.
4. Using the Shader brush apply Sexy just below the brow to blend and soften the shadow line.
5. Using the Liner brush add a small amount of water to Devious to make a paste and line your eye along the lash line of the top lid and the water line of the bottom lid.
6. Finish the look using 3D Fiber Lashes.

This is a quick look that I think looks great for day or night. I hope you will try it and let me know what you think!
